Faq's

What do I need to do to be on a poms/dance team?

  • Qualifications: Esprit seeks passionate, hardworking dancers who serve as positive role models and team players. 

  • Tryouts: occur in the Spring where dancers learn basic skills and a short routine which they will perform and be evaluated on.  


  • Activities: The team participates in Badgerette competitions, camps, and workshops, along with 1-2 additional events for variety. Team involvement promotes balance between family, school, and dance.


  • Commitment: The season runs from April to February. Members must attend all practices, prioritize Esprit events, and commit to training at home. Success requires dedication from dancers, families, and coaches.

 

How Much Experience is needed to join esprit?

  • No experience is needed! 

 

How Many Members are added to the team each year​

  • There is no set number taken each year

 

What is the practice schedule for each team during the summer and school year?​

  • Seniors 3 hours 4 days a week in the summer and 2.5 hours 2 days a week in the school year

  • Juniors 3 hours 2 days a week in the summer and 2.5 hours 2 days a week in the school year

  • Mini Gold - 1 hour 2 days a week for both summer and school  year

  • Mini White - 1 hour 1 day a week for both summer and school year

financial requirements?

  • all of our teams are reasonably priced. please contact us for specific details

Are there opportunities to fundraise?

  • Yes! Team parent support groups are encourages to fundraise by conducting car washes, pretzel sales, candy bar sales, Culvers nights, :fill the bow" badgerette midwest program ad, and sendiks food sale to name a few.
